I will not advise. You knew the insurance policy had a time limit & you should have prepared for it. No excuses.

  3. Legally, the best way to handle it is tow it to your house.

  4. not just move it off road but your to turn in your plates to state DVM
or they take your drivers license that 50 bucks you didnt pay to renew might cost you 350 bucks to be reinstated to drive any car at all..

    call your DVM and ask
before you lose your rights to drive and it cost you more my state nevada you got one day or so an insurance reports it to state and they cancel license

  5. in my state the insurance company reports you to the DMV if your policy runs out, If you have to call a tow truck and have it towed home that is cheaper than the fine if you get caught driving it.

  6. What state are you in? Is this vehicle parked in front of your house or why would it be on the highway parked. It is illegal to drive the vehicle on the road without insurance but if it is not being driven then it should be ok. Many municipal codes require some vehicle’s to be registered to on the road even if parked. You question requires a few more details to properly give you some good advice. Best of luck.

In the UK you cannot move it on the road if any wheels touch the ground. The only legal way would be to put it on a flat bed truck to move it. Since it is already illegal driving it a few metres will not make much difference if it brings to an end this period of criminal activity for you
