If your g-friend has car insurance then she might be able to use her’s. Just because you could have had insurance dose not meen it will cover a accedent. I was driving my g-friends car and totaled it her insurance only covered her car and 5k of what ever else was left.
well good luck finding somebody to insure you now. you can, it’ll just be expensive. you and your girlfriend will have to pay for any damages out of pocket, or deal with a lawsuit.
If your GF was at fault, you and/or she will have to pay any damages out of your pocket; it’s your responsibility to be sure the car was insured, not your parents’. Your GF will have an accident on record, and probably your lilcense will be suspended until you make any restitution required. Her insurance won’t cover her in your car, since it follows the car, not the driver.
It’s your car. YOU’LL be sued.
